Welcome to the website of New York based composer/arranger/collaborative keyboardist Raphael Fusco!

An emerging artist of various fields and recipient of numerous honors, Raphael is active internationally in both early music and contemporary music. He has written music for solists such as grammy nominated English Hornist, Tom Stacy and Metropolitain Opera Mezzo-soprano Barbera Dever and ensembles such as I Cantori New York, The Hartford Chorale, Alaria Chamber Players, los Percussiones de Barcelona, and the Bachanalia Festival Orchestra. His music, most recently politically driven, combines elements from early and classical music with contemporary, world, and jazz/pop, music to create an interesting, eclectic sound "...with something in it for everyone." His arrangements are in high demand by groups of all levels and sizes throughout the United States.

His music is available for purchase or rental through Chiaroscuro Publications. Please contact Raphael to obtain scores or parts.

Raphael, in addition to composing, is available for freelance hire as an arranger, teacher, accompanist, coach, and conductor of repertoire ranging from early vocal works and opera to contemporary instrumental chamber and orchestral literature.

As a harpsichordist Raphael is a founding member of the period instrument consorts Corelli Collective and Uncommon Temperament and plays freelance continuo throughout New York.

Equally at home in Jazz and Popular music, Raphael is co-founder of MAJOR KEYS, a dueling jazz piano duo which has taken the bars and churches of New York by storm.

Come on in, listen to some audio files and find out more about the music that the Hartford Courante has hailed as "full of energy and lyricism."
