Classical structures, Jazz harmonies, Rock grooves, and catchy melodies bridge contemporary music to the past in Raphael Fusco's debut Album "Remixed."

The album features world premiere recordings of Fusco's award-winning compositions for solo piano, including Remixes on a Theme by Händel, Nouvelles Pieces de Clavecin, On Solid Ground, and Three Chorales.

Each composition uses material from the past as a point of departure for something new and original.  Whether inspired by Baroque melodies or framed by traditional forms, these pieces are, in essence, all remixes.  They represent eight years of research and compositional activity focused on developing a modern style strongly rooted in the past which crosses genres and bridges cultures.
