A Reflection of Light is a meditation on resilience, joy, and the choices we make in

moments of uncertainty. Sherry Blevins’ luminous text asks singers and listeners alike

to look beyond fear and scarcity, turning instead toward hope, love, and inner strength.

Scored for SSA voices with piano and optional cello, the music seeks to mirror the

poem’s balance of vulnerability and affirmation: tender lines unfolding into soaring

phrases, grounded by harmonies that invite warmth and radiance. At its heart, the work
