Recipient of 2nd Prize in the 2024 Notre Dame Magnificat Choir Liturgy Alive Composition Competition, Te cubrirá con sus plumas is a gentle, meditative setting of Psalm 91 in both Spanish and English. The piece offers a message of divine protection and trust: “The Lord will overshadow you with his pinions… His faithfulness will be your shield.” Written for SSA voices, with optional piano support, the work blends lyrical lines and rich harmonies to evoke a sense of warmth, shelter, and spiritual refuge.
